I just read a recent independent well controlled underground study on the effects of Testosterone (enanthate style steroids...)
Four groups of individual's.
(1) No exercise, No steroids
(2) exercise, No steroids
(3) No exercise, steroids
(4) exercise, steroids
It should be no surprise that over a 4 week period those who did no exercise and took no steroids gained zero pounds of lean muscle
Those who exercised and took no steroids gained an average of 4 pounds of lean muscle mass.
Those who did no exercise and took steroids gained an average of 7 pounds of lean muscle mass.
Those who exercised and took steroids gained an average of 13 pounds of lean muscle mass.
Yep, those taking steroids with no exercise (sitting on the couch) almost doubled the lean muscle mass of those doing exercise.......
That's how good they are and why people take the huge risks involved.
