Fried eggs, usually the cheapest is 6 for ?1, plus bread, butter? salt, pepper, oil, plus

the gas/electric.

If one was being super-accurate, one would also have to factor in the cost of the hot water and washing up liquid, you'd also have to factor in a % for the cost of the dish cloth, washing the tea towel, and a % towards the bin bag.

If one was being hyper-accurate, one would also have to factor in the cost of wear and tear to the oven, your socks or slippers etc. The cost of you actually going to buy the stuff to make the sarnie - travel expenses, wear and tear on everything that is involved in the process.

Of course none of this factors in your time spent, buying the ingredients, making the sarnie, washing and cleaning up etc.

That spar sarnie isn't as overpriced as it seemed.
