Dean Ashton. Is anyone else caught in 2 minds as to whether.......

they want to Deano to score in the last 2 games?

On the one hand if he scores we are more likely to stay up, but then on the other hand if we are going to be relegated you don't want him to score any more goals as that would raise his profile further. He has'nt scored in the last 2 games so if he does'nt score in the next 2 that will be 4 games without a goal and hopefully if we are relegated then DEan can slip into the Championship with as little attention as possible.

If we are relegated if we could hold on to Dean i and i think most fans would go into next season in the Championshiop full of optimism and raring to go, however if we sold Ashton in the summer i would go into a season in the Championship feeling a bit deflated and no where near as confident about our chances for promotion as i would be if DEan where here.

Who thought would have the clout to buy dean if we are relegated. EVerton? they've got BEattie, Villa? they are rumoured to have a bit of cash, Man City? would they have the necessary ?6 mill plus? Charlton? would they again have the cash? I don't think Ashton would go to any of the newly promoted sides.
