Must have told this story before

but I knew a teacher who insisted it was pronounced "oh-nay". Literally took him years to recognise that the "pancakes too" bit probably proved him wrong.

Pizzas were OK there but they had those chilli scabs and I used to drown whatever pizza it was in those - loved it right off.
