Didn't we actually learn the opposite?

We stayed out of the relegation zone for ages despite being crap and losing lots.

Unfortunately the teams below us couldn't keep being crap and we got relegated.

Obviously it's great to be top of the league but we are now below the 2 points per game we need to ensure promotion. A win at craven cottage (!) Will put us back on track.
