Darren Eadie (not the wroth one)

The Canary Call one

This is the second time time I've heard him claiming that Whittaker getting too far forward was depriving Redmond of space to beat his man. He was suggesting that if Whittaker stayed further back then Redmond would get a one-on-one against his defender more often.

Obviously our Darren knows what he liked, and who am I to disagree, but surely an an attacking fullback would give the winger in front of him more options.

Plus, I reckon most attacking coaches would want their fullbacks to get forward at every given opportunity.

I just find his views on this a bit weird
