I wondered that and had wrote this...

not all siblings want to beat each other at everything and look at the other with envy when they have success, especially not the case for twins from what I've seen and read. If anything it could give him the confidence to push on himself and make up for the lesser talent with more hard work. I bet he is more proud of his brother than anything else.

I decided not to post it in case I had missed the point.
