Re Yeates - from a Tottenham fan

Here is a post on a Tottenham website
(complete with spelling mistakes) about Yeates....

----------------------------
'He's got tons of natural ability but he also has his faults. He's not much of a team player, he doesn't score enough goals or create enough chances for others & he manages to look porky whilst also being very lightweight. All that said though i'd struggle to think of a more naturally talented youngster at the club, or one we'd had in the last few years, he really is that good. Jol, when he talks about him, raves & raves. He thinks he has a big future
but where do you play him? He's no striker, he can't play in a midfield two because he offers nothing
defensively. He can play behind the strikers in a diamond or on the left wing but until he grow up a bit he will always be a luixury player.

He had a slow start at Colchester but seems to have really got going in the last couple of months. As has been said a lot of Championship clubs have been looking at him very closely. Norwich & Palace seem to be head of the cue. Next year will be a huge year for him because he'll be in that 21-22 age bracket & if you haven't broken through by then, then the chances are you're not going to.

Its a shame Clive Allen didn't find Barnie earlier as he might have made something of him, sadly the kids developement all happened quite late & we
can't really wait for him any longer. Lets hope the same won't be said of Yeates. Roll on Terry Dixon, tis all i can say!'

------------------------

I think he will make a useful addition to your (Norwich) squad if you get him. Good luck...not sure if he could make it in Premiership though without getting stronger.
