Cat's generally have quite big awareness of area too (I thought it was something like 4-8 miles)

I've biked a mile into a 3 mile trip towards a shopping centre once, and saw mine just ambling about on a golf course.

It did worry me a little that he was so far out

Hopefully it'll just come home one night, as if it's only been a few hours
