Thoughts and solutions...

1. That team should have been good enough to beat Shrewsbury who hadn't even scored once from their last 5 matches. The players train together, they are not strangers.

2. All the players should have been doing their best to show they are worthy of a first-team place.

3. Getting promotion should be the priority.

4. League cup & FA Cup are becoming a waste of time for most higher league clubs.

5. The 'Champions League' should go back to being just for the 'Champions' from each nation but play the competition as a league format.

6. The 'Cup Winners Cup' should just be for 'cup winners' and have a cup knock-out format. That would give the domestic cup competitions and the Cup Winners Cup far more prestige and money than they have at the moment.

7. The League Cup should involve all 92 clubs from the first round onwards rather than the bigger clubs joining later in the competition.
