today's DIY spectacular involved something as mundane as painting some cupboards. i'd prepped up diligently by removing the doors and putting all the screws in the top of an upturned aerosol lid and set about the task. first brush strokes all went well, reached down pick up a cloth to wipe away a but of overpaint and promptly knocked the cup over. into the paint pot. including all the screws.
