The best businesses tend to be those you have a passion for.
Think of the things you enjoy doing and see if there is an opening in the market for a product or service in that area.
Search online with places like ebay and Amazon.
Small Businesses they make most millionaires tend to be ones that don't make small margins on constant products.
As an example, things like owning car washes and dry cleaning services can be great long term businesses.
Once the equipment is paid for.......most of the money is pure profit going forward.
Where running a shop selling tins of peas is a tough slog and its hard to compete with the infrastructure/buying power of the big supermarkets.
Also restaurants and Nightclubs and bars are notorious money pits. Most fail owing a ton of money.
Also think of the times you were looking for a service that is supplied elsewhere but for some reason not in your town.
Think of the times you have used a business or service and you could not believe how badly it was run. There could be an opportunity for someone to come in and scoop up the majority of the business.
