I know 48-52 sounds close. But bear in mind that these numbers represent the mean of a bell curve with a standard deviation of a few percentage points. Do the math and it's about 80% likely that no will win, based on the published polls - so much more likely than 48-52 makes it sound. Of course the papers won't point this out because the knife-edge stuff is better reading.
