We could collapse, and in collapsing he could be proven right. But we've beaten Blackburn, Watford and Ipswich who could all expect to be top half teams, and we didn't lose (though did drop points at home) to a Bournemouth team who might expect to be up in the playoffs. And we won 4-2 after being 2 down away from home.

Where's the pseudo-psychoanalysis of that?
