On paper we had a very strong squad last year..........

we just had a number of players who played well below themselves, especially in the striking department.
On paper you would probably have taken Elmander and RvW over Grabban and Jerome..........But its hard to imagine that Grabban and Jerome would have had a worse return in the PL...........
