For those outside the UK..... a solution to a problem (android devices)

OK, so you want to listen to BBC stuff (canary call) on your android device.
Even if you have a VPN installed, it still wont let you download the new iplayer and BBC media player as it knows the country your phone is registered in.

I actually found a workaround, you can download the files directly from the following site

First download the aptoide app and then search "BBC" and both the iplayer and BBC media player will be in the list when you scroll down.
They work perfectly, you may have take off untrusted permissions for just a while to download and install them.

Boom, full BBC iplayer and BBC media player (radio Norfolk)working anywhere in the world..........
