Great thing about Neil is that he believes in Wes

If that was Hughton (or a few from on here) in charge, Wes would have been taken off at HT.

But Neil saw the positives from his first half performance not the negatives. Ok he was at fault for their first goal but he never hid, was always looking to get on the ball and dictate the play in the 1st half. Some things didn't come off but it wasn't for the want of trying.

Second half, out on the left with the freedom to drift inside he caused havoc, he freed up space for Olsson to get forward down the left and deliver quality crosses to Jerome and Grabban.

Olsson is such a good attacking left back he doesn't need a Redmond in front of him, he can dominate his side and Redmond is even better on the right wing anyway.

It's makes a nice change to have a manager who focuses on the positives and is more concerned about us and where our strengths lie than worrying about the opposition.
