how day to day personas collide with football Win lose or draw

it's got me thinking about how even the elevated feeling of match day, or the weekend's clashes with all our lovely quirks.

I've found a couple of definitions I personally like. Then I'll list a load of others I found.

Type: Derailer Twins

Definition: Derails threads to invest in their own personal debate with another poster. Derailers come in pairs and there may or may not be sexual tension between the two. Derailers twins also tend to be closet "Tireless Rebuttors"

One-eyed Jack :

No matter the topic, the "One-eyed Jack" manages to equate it to sex, or some sort of sexual fetish of theirs

Some others

Type: Professor facts

Definition: Wants everything any one has ever stated to be backed up with graphs and numbers. Always points out that the other person's opinion is an opinion and nothing else but an opinion.

Type: Snarky

Definition: Comes accross as not blatantly rude but has that whole undertone right off the bat. Seems pissy in every post. Does not understand how he gets strong reactions to his posts.

Type: Real Life Expert

Somehow always manages to have a personal experience that gives them a unique expert insight into whatever is being discussed.

Type: Mr. Never Wrong.

"I would admit it if I was wrong, but I'm not so I won't." Even when obviously proven wrong, they refuse to admit it and continually try to back up their stance.

ignorant posters;

refuse to listen to any facts that discredit their posts, totally ignores anyone that disagrees with them

Doomsayers: Only post about a dying times or end of a era

Failed Diplomat

always tries to please both sides with long , complicated posts which contain very good points but only aggravate the people further.

Type: The confused responder

Definition: Always gets the format wrong in a thread where there is a Template made up already, hard time following directions, but we still love him anyway. Much like you would a friendly puppy.

Mr. Meme

uses memes on nearly every post

Mr. Wuts Grammer

The person that misspells while also incorrectly punctuating everything in their post or completely lacking any punctuation besides a single period at the end of a paragraph long run on sentence.

Human Being

Definition: Includes several communication faults, is a mix of any definition you can find in this thread, while all he tries to do is quench his thirst for communication.

The Rapid Surmiser:

Reads only the first few sentences of a post then forms a strong opinion on the subject matter and begins commenting and defending his position. All despite the fact he isnt really involved in the subject at all but feels artificially strongly about it in order to make a strong post.

Type: The One Liner

Definition: Only ever replies with one or two sentences. Also thinks that his/her post is the most profound. Likely to take as much time writing the one sentance as others take to create a valuable post with multiple paragraphs.

Poll Troll:

Always demands for there to be another option in a poll, even if the poll has everything covered in the matter at hand

Type: Has no Enter key

Definition: Posts entirely in unformatted walls of text. Often upset when no one reads them.

The Nemesis:

They're always around when you are and they are almost constantly on the opposite side of every debate.

Type: Forum Doctor

Definition: Anytime someone comes to the forum with a medical condition (either physical or mental), this person responds, even though they are not a medical professional, with shoddy medical advice.

The Vanilla Man:

Starts most every post/reply with, "Hi, i'm a season ticket holder since 1984" and carries their main point of focus on a subject completely unrelated to their opening statement.

Type: Mod

Flawless in every way possible and loved and admired by everyone.

Conspiracy guy.

Definition: Predicts things with extremely vague claims. Alternatively, he exaggerates things like hell. Also, wearing a tinfoil hat.

The story teller:

Post's hard to believe stories that depicts them as a god among men, often agitated when people call bs.

Math Wizard:

Knows the percentage to everything. There is statistic on everything, and this guy has them all!

Type: The Dink

Definition: Has a compulsion to post only "worst idea ever" and is never heard from again.
