No. Butter pies, or Catholic Pies as they're also known, are hands-down the most dull pies that mankind has ever produced.

They're just pastry and potato. Perhaps a smidge of onion. Oh be still my beating heart.

They are "Catholic" pies because they were made to be eaten on Fridays, explaining why there's no meat. And also explaining why they originated from Preston: a town riddled with Catholics. Imagine a meat and potato pie with no meat - that's a butter pie.

You might as well say quorn makes the best bolognaise sauce for all the credibility your butter pie claims bring you Larrald.
