If you mean as a medium to manage you pod then i use

Winamp. Though they've just been bought so not available to download just yet. But it works beautifully and avoids the hundred and one f**king miseries of having to use s**tty iTunes.

If you wan to buy i've always found Amazon good and loads of cheap/free stuff as well.
