Indeed. I'm talking about the past 20 years

when the Tories effectively disppeared from Scotland. Meaning that every Tory government has become alien to the Scots. As you say, the Tories used to do perfectly well in Scotland - question is what on earth happened to turn them into an endangered species up there.
