There are two reasons why people in England haven't engaged with it

and it's got nothing to do with vote spread.

1. Independence support has been running at about 30% since the year dot. It was never ever going to happen, so why worry?

2. It's not our vote. It affects the union we are a part of, however it is not our vote.
