in recent months they had a variety of great WW1 programmes

some documentaries and some fictional stuff relating to it too, these programmes were widley acclaimed. Brian Cox has done some pretty great Science shows in recent years and is filming another at the moment. Also the BBC nature series like Planet Earth, Africa, Ocean Life, Life of Mammals...etc..and a load more have been popular all around the world and in many cases were a breakthrough in the enjoyment of HDTV viewing and something the BBC invested a lot more time and energy in than a cooking programme.
