obviously there's an age-old debate of what the beeb is there for, and whether it should mix 'educational' output along with more mass-appeal stuff to keep people watching.

But in any case, GBBO is as much a tongue-in-cheek take on reality tv comps as it is the real thing (compared with, say, Masterchef). And it is actually about the baking, rather the realityness.

Anyway, I was only trying to mildly tease APB, really...
