Same with Wes. Most importantly tettey gives the team balance because he has the athleticism to shield the back 4 meaning the other midfielders can push forward and support the forwards.

I've not had time to look in detail but I bet our performances and results last season and the season before were better with Tettey in the team.

Certainly it was no coincidence that the great "unbeaten run" of the previous season came when he got into the team and was playing at his best.
