I think it's because there's a feeling he should be contributing

more than he is. He needs to get half a dozen goals at least this season, and he proved on Saturday twice that he can easily beat his man on the outside (when on the right) and whip in a dangerous cross. Yet too often he stops the ball and slows down the play and doesn't use his ability as much as he could.

So it's not that he's s**t, it's just that he probably should be doing more of the kind of things that created the goal on Saturday.
