But isn't most of the work done through the agents and the buying club. I.e they sound the player out, see if it's a goer, agree terms and then go to the selling club to wrap it up? Redmond has said from early in the summer he's happy here. I think if he had wanted to go we would've seen a deal done.

Fair play to the lad. I bet Southampton would've given him a hefty pay rise. I think he sees this year as good for his development
