Without wishing to come over all Guardian reader and prudish

(although I do read it) I'm going to say it anyway. When people on here take offence at various affronts to their sensibilities, be it Malky's racist textings, USAC trying to play devil's advocate or just some plain ignorant comments from someone, yet NO-ONE bats an eyelid at the use of rape in this context, it does make me wonder. Well, I find it offensive and I'm happy to say so. And you can't defend it by saying it's metaphorical - using it as a metaphor is still offensive. Leave it out.
