Let me stop you right there

Because what you are doing is falling in to the tyranny of comparing your child to others. They *all* do things in their own time at their own pace.

When you're right in it, it feels desperately important. When you're out of it (the whole walking, eating, talking etc thing) you realise that they all; get to exactly the same point when they're good and ready and you wonder what all the fuss was about.
