PACE IS EVERYTHING

Deano is a fine player who i hope will be a Norwich player for a long while. The reason the top clubs may be put off is his lack of genuine pace. He has many other qualities which help to offest this weakness but he is what he is. Norwich has changed from a selling club to a genuine attempt to increase quality. Some signings may not work but the reality is Worthington and the board are trying to build something withinthe normal constraints of a football business. Selling Ashton would mean a change of direction, something i would be very concerned about.
