We'd all love him to be consistent. I'm sure Arsenal would love Walcott to be consistent as well.
I know it's convenient for my argument, but it's hard, and a little harsh, to judge him on last year. I do believe he was intended to play less than he did, but injury and desperation dictated otherwise. Last season wasn't about his inconsistency, it was about a young man slowly withering in confidence, in my opinion.
And to judge him on four games this season is incredibly harsh. Ask me again at Xmas, and if he's still inconsistent or not progressing, then my opinion will probably differ.
