Yeah lost evidence = person in charge at the time can't be held to account

must be someone elses fault it went missing. They probably don't work in the evidence bit anymore, so that solves bringing anyone to account there

Phew for the police

I understand criminals get away with crimes without evidence, and that's a frustrating process for the police and law. But it's another thing committing crimes when you are the law, never mind the total neglect you all 'collectively' have for the victims

How about considering the damage you've really done, the generations of criminals which will spring out of this abuse

You haven't just failed in that case, you've failed 2 generations
