It's the oldest trick in the advocate's book: exaggerate the position of your opponent until it looks silly, and then mock it.
Most people on here DON'T "want" City to lose. Most people do want Worthy to go, however, and they do not believe that a couple of wins are suddenly enough to cover up all his many failings as a manager.
If we had lost away at Crewe I would have felt as sick about it as I always do when City lose. But I would have tried to cheer myself up by thinking, "Oh well, surely even the board can now see that it's for the long term good of the club to get rid of Worthy asap".
I will go on cheering City and hoping for a win every game. I never ever hope they lose. But I will also go on blaming Worthy for lack of ambition and nouse last season, and crap transfer dealings/tactics/selections this season.
