Not sure why people get so hung up on this... especially

those that don't go to games. The delay before it cuts in is much longer now so there is around 20/30 seconds of non-goal music mentalness before it cuts in - it then fills that gap while the players return to their half for the restart - you know, the bit which used to be filled by everybody chitty chatting about the goal.
