Tbf, I was in my 30s before I heard my old man say "f**k"

And I've never heard Mother use language stronger than "bugger" or "don't fart-arse about". And I can swear like a navvy.

So while I never got in trouble for swearing at school, if I had, my parents would have been completely justified in saying, truthfully, that I didn't hear it from them.
