But they're just words without context. At best he's guilty of making racist comments in jest, which is clearly very foolish and pretty shameful behaviour, at worst, he's a racist homophobe bully.

However, based on the words alone, it's impossible to know where on that scale he is.

I think people are being a little bit too quick to judge him as the latter, nothing is ever quite that black or white (!) - and although it looks bad it's sad that this is now going to turn into a witch hunt - he'll never be able to clear his name even in the event it Is more innocent than it seems, regardless of how unbelievable
that may be it could be true.
