A more dishonest person

would have an accident with some paint or drop a hot iron onto it.

We had the man out about a claim and told us a story about a flying baby. The baby had trodden in some paint and walked upstairs. By the time he was halfway up the stairs, the footprints were almost none existent. Then they got stronger again. This continued to happen and he went into every room in the house.

The insurance company did pay out despite this but the guy said that they would not insurance at a decent rate ever again.
