Hull manager Steve Bruce is worried ?6m signing Robert Snodgrass could be a long-term absentee after he suffered a knee injury in the 1-0 win at QPR.
The Scotland winger, 26, who joined from relegated Norwich this summer, came off at half-time with the knock.
"Snodgrass is a concern," Bruce said. "He's twisted his knee. He's in a brace and crutches at the moment - touch wood he's not too bad.
"We fear ligament damage and if it is, it'll obviously be a long time."
