If a player wants out, nowdays he'll tell his agent who will let the club know know, at McNally level or similar.

That doesn't mean Adams or whatever manager won't be consulted by McNally about whether the want away request is granted or not.

Some are making out that McNasty will solely decide on who stays and who goes, with Adams being totally bypassed. Larrald style conspiracy!
