yep, it seems to be the board's new set-up

they said Hughton had too much influence and wanted the DoF role to take transfers away from the manager. Not really sure who is making the decisions now though since Royle left.

I guess this also would have had a bearing on why someone like Lennon or Mackay isn't our manager.
