has firewall as well. decent all round

avast is another well respected one. also dont underestimate the microsoft security essentials stuff. decent nowadays.

im not sure id ever recommend buying antivirus. i view it as the add on they hard sell you at the poota shop when you buy a new one. something they can get extra commission on.

free ones are just as good and not targeted like paid for programs

just my 2 pence worth mind you.
