He tore a hamstring against Newcastle last season so that was a huge blow and meant we had to rely on Redmond on the left most of the season. Plus it resulted in that god awful loan deal for Guttierez.

Admittedly he looked short of match fitness away to Southampton but nobody did well in that game.

Its a real pity Adams couldn't bring him back into the fold. Poor man management from Adams, clearly traveled up to Wolves expecting to be on the bench.
