He's been around for ages and he's been playing in the champ for ages. Yes he's decent enough but we've played against him several times and he's certainly no world beater. The fact he's now seen as worth ?10m is more a sign of the ludicrous price tags attached to anyone who can score a few goals at whatever level and the desperation of clubs to find goalscorers.
Hooper, given a decent run and some fitness, is a better striker than either Deeney or McCormack in my view.
