We received unsatisfactory offers for Fer and Snoddy, so we waited and they came back with more (at least in Snoddy's case). I can't fathom why we'd accept such a low bid from one of our main competitors with two weeks of the transfer window to go. Indeed, I would argue that we should have kept him regardless, but the manager was determined to sell him, why not hold out for more? Plus you can't assume Cardiff were the only interested party just because they have bought him. I remember there were rumours that Swansea were keen in the summer.
