the worry for me is not necessarily that our best players are leaving

the fees for Snodgrass and RvW, for example, were good bit of business, and it's normal to have a couple of departures after relegation.

It is more that we seem to be forcing our best players out of the door (Bassong, Pilkington, Hooper). This suggests that either we are not in as strong a position financially as the board has led us to believe, or that Adams is struggling to control/handle the ego of the bigger name players.
