No I agree. I don;t really blame him with being a bit down to be honest

Brought in by Hughton who then consistently picked that useless prat RVW ahead of him when fit. never really got a run in the team playing with a striker partner. Signed for us having played in the champions league and with half an eye on the world cup squad if he had a good season and ended up sitting on the bench for a relegated team. Now faces starting on the bench in the championship. Bet he's well chuffed with how his move has gone.

Doesn't excuse him coming back overweight and its true that when he did play he did not always set the world on fire but still looked our best finisher, especially in the period prior to all the confidence being sucked out of the entire team.
