Exactly. First move Adams should have made was to say to Hooper

that he's the main man this season. Instead we go out and buy two strikers and stick Hooper on the bench for the biggest pre-season friendlies. What kind of message does that send to a player who has probably been considering if he sees his future at the club following pretty shabby treatment by both managers last season.

Bassong is a little different as i think there has been an "incident" that has led to his situation but again we would certainly not be weaker if he was brought back into the fold.
