A deal could be close to being done

No point risking playing a player who may not want to be here. If they get injured which causes the deal to fall through we'd miss out on the transfer fee, the chance of bringing someone else in with the money, and end up paying his wages while he recovers. Although we did buy him with a broken leg didn't we? Probably got a discount.

I'm sure the transfer process these days is a lot more involved than just shipping players out. Want to sure we get the right money to bring in suitable replacements.
