Eventually after it kicked off a bit. The players families/friends reacted very angrily and several fans reported the culprits to the stewards. One of the fans with the guys making the monkey noises got chucked out for offering someone out in the aftermath.

Have to say though that the stewards must have heard it but did nothing until it actually kicked off amongst the fans. The guy had done it two or three times over the course of 5 minutes or so but it was so blatant i think everyone just thought either they must be mistaken or that the stewards would obviously step in. Personally I've heard a few people shout the odd racist comment in the spur of the moment before but I've never heard someone so openly do that before, presumably not least because even if you are racist you know you just cannot do that!
