Look, I haven't given up by any means

but even after a night's sleep I don't believe that the 'only one game' argument is entirely sound.

As scc reasonably says, yesterday was a continuation; same old same old - and predominantly with the same players.

That is NOT to say I think our goose is cooked by any means and two home wins will make everything feel entirely different. However it is entirely disingenuous to suggest that any negative reaction to yesterday's game is pure kneejerk.

When we played Watford in 2010 we were adjusting to a step up in class. Yesterday was a marked step down - but it all felt achingly familiar. This is no new team trying to bed in, this is last year's squad with some tinkering around the edges.

Just as at Hull last year (and we knew, after that game... we just knew) the signs are there.
